BAGRAM AIR FIELD, Afghanistan – President Barack Obama says the United States will never let Afghanistan be a safe haven for terrorists to attack America.
To emphasize his point, Obama repeated, “That will never happen.”
Obama on Friday addressed several thousand U.S. troops inside a hangar at Bagram Air Field in Afghanistan. The president made an unannounced visit to the war zone to thank the troops for serving away from their loved ones at the holidays.
