You think socialism is great, just talk with a Cuban or Venezuelan, they’ll tell you how “great” it is.
Socialism turned Cuba and Venezuela into third world countries where one can barely buy food, much less other goods and services.
Want an example closer to home, look at California. While not socialist per se, it is by far the most “socialist” state in our country. California is without question the most geographically diverse and desirable state in our nation – it has beautiful coastlines, mountains, deserts, lakes, rivers, forests, beautiful climate, skiing, surfing, you name it… It is also home to some of the wealthiest companies/people in America. It is also broke. Illegal immigration, sanctuary cities and liberal “leftist” policies have destroyed the state. The homeless population in cities such as Los Angeles, Anaheim, San Francisco and Oakland (just to name a few) is out of control. Drug addiction is out of control. Crime is out of control. Gang violence is out of control. In short, the Left has turned what was once the most desirable place to live in the entire United States into a sewer – that’s the socialist mentality for you… TGO
